Los Flamingos offers luxury villas and apartments bordering golf with contemporary, classical and Andalucian style architecture and panoramic views to the Mediterranean over the golf courses.
It consists of 3 golf courses all completely different in design and all with incredible views of the Mediterranean sea, Africa and Gibraltar.
- The Los Flamingos Golf course is an 18 hole, 5,714 m. par 71 course and was designed by the renowned architect Antonio Garcia Garrido and boasts a pristine landscape, with lots of different varieties of trees and spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The Arroyo de Taraje stream passes through the course and ends in a lake which is a natural border to the course. Flamingos Golf has hosted prestigious tournaments such as the European Seniors Championship in 2002, 2003, 2004 and in the year 2010 the Spanish Women’s Open.
- The Alferini course has 18 holes, 6,641 m. par 73, and four tees per hole. A very long course providing a very challenging game where large tournaments and competitions are played.
- The Tramores golf course has 18 Holes, par 65, White: 3,486 m., Handicap: Men 48, Women 48.
Los Flamingos is nestled in a beautiful landscape between two valleys and is home to the Villa Padierna “Michael Campbell” Golf Academy where members can learn to improve with the help from experts.
In addition to the golf course the resort boasts the Ritz Carlton, Villa Padierna which is regarded as one of the top hotels in Spain and was the holiday destination for Michelle Obama, the wife of the USA President Barack Obama in 2010 when she visited Marbella.
